1st Day of School for Students

Friday, August 07, 2026: Please note that our first day of school with students will be an early release day. More information will come later, stay tuned!

-RFK Middle School: students will have a jump start day and will run through all of their classes following the early release bell schedule. Students will receive a grab & go lunch as they are dismissed.

-RFK High School: students will have an orientation day. All staff and students will start in the gym. Students will get their schedules and report to their Advisory teacher. The campus will be divided into two to three rotations. 

Each rotation will consist of:

*Orientation: review school expectations, CTE opportunities, etc.

*Advisory Class: review class schedule - make sure students are scheduled correctly (note any errors for each student), sign up for CTE programs, review transcripts, and complete credit grids.

*Campus Tour: Advisory classes will take their classes on a brief campus tour.

*Students will have a grab & go lunch as they are dismissed.
